SimCity 5 Overview

SimCity 5 (Also known as SimCity 2013) is a city building simulation game which allows you to build and expand your own urban areas. The players have the option to settle for a residential, commercial or industrial lands as well as maintaining public transportation and services. The user interface was inspired by Google Maps and infographics to convey information to the player more clearly compared to the previous SimCity games.

How to Download & Install SimCity 5 (2013)

Click the Download button or the logo below and you should be redirected to MEGA.
Click Download through your web browser or Download with MEGASyncto start your download. (For web browser downloading, you should use chrome and have the MEGA extension installed, which you can get here).
Once SimCity 5 is done downloading, right click the .zip file and click on “Extract to SimCity 5 (2013)” (To do this you must have WinRAR, which you can get here).
Double click inside the SimCity folder and run the setup.
Click install and let the game install. You may get a couple of pop ups once finished, just close out of them and right click and run the game as administrator from your desktop & play (do not forget to run the game as administrator as it helps prevents crashes and issues with game saves).

Do not connect online or apply the update when you launch the game. This game copy is meant to be played offline only.

Note:If you receive an “error 3000” upon opening the game, to fix this you should right click on “Play SimCity 2013 offline” from your desktop and ‘Open file location’. From there, double click on en_launcher and play from there. (See screenshot below)
